They can keep their work in a journal and then when we return, we can use those experiences for follow up and quick check in's to what they have learned. For 6th grade science. We are currently focused on Energy and the transfer of Energy. That would include conduction, convection and radiation. We also look at the types of energy such as chemical, electrical, solar, electromagnetic, mechanical and hydo-electric energy.
If your child has their textbook, I will provide page numbers and questions for them to do. They can then receive credit for that work when we return. If your child doesn't have their textbook at home, then I will provide resources for you child to look at on-line or activities that they can do through out this time period to keep them thinking about the Science that they need to be learning.
